Привет всем, WinXP SP3, стоит visual studio 2008, хотел еще установить Visual Studio 2003 .NET, установка проходит почти полностью, во время регистрации ключей в реестр возникает ошибка, после этого установка откатывается назад и выдается вот такое сообщение:

[03/12/09,10:22:50] Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Architect 2003 — English: [2] ERROR: Error 1406.Could not write value to key \Software\Classes\.xsl\OpenWithList\devenv.exe. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

Пробовал устанавливать Visual Studio 2005 результат тот же самый только дамп другой:

Поддержку на эту тему читал, изменил пароль администратора, удалил временные файлы. Подскажите пожалуйста кто знает как решить этот вопрос?

Все оказалось просто, нужно было дать полный доступ пользователю под которым работаешь на эту ветку реестра, даже если этот пользователь Admin.
